When decided what footage to include, as a group we decided not to include this. This is because the shot has a long duration and would've slowed down the speed of our opening sequence.
This scene is when the two protagonists meet and bump into each other. We decided not to include this because we felt this scene would come a lot later on in the film. If we included his shot it would mean less enigma is created within the opening sequence.
As you can see we filmed the two characters meeting up close, but when we researched opening sequences the two main characters didn't meet this early on.
After doing many different angled shots of the two characters meeting, we decided it looked extremely fake and unrealistic, therefore, we did this shot. The coffee didn't spill in the camera so this shot doesn't match out storyline, and we decided not to use this either after deciding not to show the audience their meeting.
