Conclusion - Opening Sequences

After looking at 5 different opening sequences I have come to a realisation that most opening sequences have the same conventions as each other.

Most I have looked at included:

• Production company logos
• The title of the film
• Cast and crew names
• The genre was established
• The location was shown
• There was music and/or sound effects
• Main characters where introduced and some of their traits where revealed
• A sense of mystery was created
